i actually do not know.
but with the door handle where it is and the front bonnet shape , it clearly isn’t a GT40.

I’m going to guess it was once an MR2.

I wouldn’t jump to the conclusion that it’s a shitheap, just because it’s not an actual GT40. It looks to be something mid-engined at the very least.

There’s quite a few kit car manufacturers out there. Some are worse than others.

I'm 50/50 on it being a Fiero or an MR2. My gut says Fiero, because more Fieros are kit cars now than remain as Fieros, but I think the t-tops narrow it down to one of those two.

The answer is always Fiero. A shitheap to be sure.

I’m guessing on the shape of the T-tops, but I bet it’s an MR2

That roof line with the t-tops is all MK2 MR2.

Slim chance it is a Fiero with a T-top conversion but most likely an MR2

i’d disagree , only reason door lock barrel is in different position.

That’s a t-top Fiero based on the shape of the windshield frame, shape of the DLO, shape and placement of door handle and lock, position of wheels relative to the greenhouse, and overall size.

Put it in Gulf livery and I’d buy it.

It is a Fiero-based replica.
NAF, later ASPP branded Ford GT40 Mark II replica kit.
The Fiero it is installed on happens to be a rare T-top optioned car.

I was wrong. I never realised how low the handles on the Fiero were. I just assumed they had been moved.
